NEWS LATEST PHOTOS IN THE GALLERY 13/03/2006 The Gallery page has now been updated with further examples of the ever more diverse products manufactured by the group. Without compromising client confidentiality, there are examples of multi-feature electronic gauges, designed and manufactured by Edwards Precision, for engine components found in luxury sports cars. Vacuum - picker nozzles for the sintered parts industry, an assembly machine for components on a British made prestige saloon, processing equipment for an electronics company and rapid-prototype parts for a radar company. In other news, both Edwards Precision Engineering and Chadwick Engineering Co have recently been reassessed to the ISO9001 standard. The LRQA assessor raised no adverse comments at all during the two day triennial review and had no hesitation in recommending the renewal of both certificates. PHOTO GALLERY UPDATES 23/02/05 There never seems to be enough time to update the website which must, if anything, be a good thing. We have though, now managed to update the gallery with over thirty new photographs. Among the new items added are gauges and assembly tooling for an eagerly awaited, US made 'Supercar'; gauges for suspension components on British made prestige sports cars; a sub assembly machine for parts of an executive saloon and gauging products for the electronics industry. ISO 9001:2000 APPROVAL 24/01/03 While many companies struggle to get to grips with the revised version of the international standard, Edwards Precision Engineering and sister company Chadwick Engineering have been assessed and approved at the first attempt. After an intensive four-day visit from Lloyds Register for Quality Assurance the Quality Management System was found to conform to all necessary requirements and the assessor's report recommended the issue of certificates to both companies. Quality Systems Manager, Chris Ivory, said "We have put a great deal of time and effort into meeting the requirements of the new standard so we were quietly confident of success. However, it was still a great relief when the assessor told us that we had done so." Technical Sales Director, Chris Pitt said "Our company system really is the cornerstone of our business and new requirements such as Customer Focus and Continuous Improvement have long been a part of what we do. To meet the new standard it was just a matter of documenting them and adding them to our manuals."
