HISTORY 1971 - 2006 Edwards
Precision Engineering Ltd was started in 1971 by Ray Edwards -
our Chairman & Managing Director - initially manufacturing
tooling for the fastener industry. After a slow start the company
prospered and has grown to its present size through a planned strategy
of working closely with customers, following market trends and investing
in the future areas of the manufacturing sector. Over
the past fifteen years, Edwards Precision has made some substantial
acquisitions of other companies. As well as the Group's present
companies, these included a joint venture with a German based
engineering concern, which has helped secure our future, and resulted in
a turnover in excess of 5 million euros. Today, as always, the Group actively seeks new customers and markets but equally we value the long term relationships with our existing ones. Some of these partnerships have been forged since the very beginning, due in no small part to our continuing goal - Complete Customer Satisfaction.
